Modernising property and rates for better community service
To support their goal of delivering responsive, community-focused services aligned with its 2030 Community Vision, the Council partnered with ReadyTech to modernise its property and rates management platform, transitioning from legacy Property.GOV software to Ready Community Property & Rates.
The upgrade streamlined operations by automating manual processes, improving data integration across systems, and enabling more accessible digital services for residents. Built on secure cloud infrastructure, the platform has strengthened operational efficiency, enhanced customer experience, and created a scalable foundation for future innovation. Through this transformation, Hobsons Bay City Council has improved service delivery while positioning the organisation for long-term resilience and data-driven decision making.
