There is no change to your current annual Maintenance fee. However, there is an additional cost for hosting your database on AWS. The hosting fee varies based on several factors, including your license size and the modules you use. For a tailored quote and more information, your Customer Success Manager would be happy to discuss your options with you.
Direct SQL access is not available on cloud-hosted databases for security and performance reasons. However, most of your existing queries can be replicated or automated using Ready Pay’s OpenAPI ecosystem. We recommend speaking with your Customer Success Manager to review your specific requirements and explore suitable alternatives.
We've designed the migration process to be as simple and seamless as possible for your team.
- Step 1: The night before your scheduled migration, you'll send us a full database backup via our secure file transfer system.
- Step 2: Once the backup is received, your on-premises Ready Pay system will be disabled to prevent any data changes during the transition.
- Step 3: On the agreed migration day, your nominated users will receive an email with instructions on how to set up their credentials and access the cloud-hosted Ready Pay system.
If you have any questions during the process, your Customer Success Manager will be available to support you every step of the way.
No additional training is required. The cloud-hosted Ready Pay system is an exact replica of your current on-premises setup, with all your existing settings and configurations preserved. The only change is how users log in to the system. Once logged in, the experience and functionality remain identical.
No, parallel use is not supported. Once you send your full database backup to ReadyTech, your on-premises system should no longer be used, as any changes made after the backup will not be reflected in the cloud-hosted version. You'll receive access to your cloud-hosted Ready Pay system on the same day, ensuring a smooth and timely transition.
Yes. If you’re using the Employee Self Service (ESS) Kiosk and are hosted in the cloud, your employees can access Ready People - our custom-built ESS mobile app. This functionality is included at no additional cost, providing your staff with convenient, on-the-go access to their self-service tools.
Yes, we can provision a cloud-based sandbox environment specifically for testing purposes. This allows you to safely trial configurations, integrations, and workflows without affecting your live system. To get started or customise the test environment to your needs, please contact your Customer Success Manager, who can guide you through the setup process and any applicable fees.
