ReadyTech acquires LG Best Practice, strengthening its Western Australian local government business
26 October 2026 – ReadyTech (ASX:RDY) has acquired LG Best Practice (LGBP), a respected Western Australian local government consultancy led by Rhona Hawkins, bringing thirty years of on-the-ground sector expertise in-house.
Rhona Hawkins and her team of nine join ReadyTech's Government segment, adding a well-regarded, personal standard of customer service and a practical understanding of how local government actually works in Western Australia.
The acquisition strengthens ReadyTech's delivery capability across Western Australia, where the company already supports 84 councils, and will drive faster migrations and greater delivery capacity for the state. It also deepens ReadyTech's long-term commitment to the Western Australian market, with Rhona and her team's expertise shaping how ReadyTech continues to build for the state over time.
Brett Barningham, Executive General Manager, Government at ReadyTech, said the acquisition reflected ReadyTech's ongoing investment in strengthening its Western Australian local government business.
